Stadt als Byte shows how spaces, work, data and politics in European cities are being reconfigured by web tech corporations, startup milieus and platforms.

This storytelling project is based on a transnational exchange with activists and experts. It is the latest outcome of an exploration metroZones has been doing since 2018 on the genesis of a new urbanism that increasingly interweaves the sociality and materiality of cities with the virtual reality of the web.
